How to wear the color of the year at the gym

Pantone's official hues for 2016 are Rose Quartz and Serenity.

When Pantone—the authority on all things color—announced its annual Color of the Year, it did something different by naming two shades for 2016. Rose Quartz (think pastel pink) and Serenity (a pale shade of blue) are the official colors of the new year. Experts at Pantone say the hues were chosen because they "psychologically fulfill our yearning for reassurance and security, and reflect wellness as well as a soothing sense of order and peace." In other words, they're meant to offer a chill and relaxing vibe. Rose Quartz and Serenity are colors that fit right in with a yoga or meditation class, but we can see them adding a soothing sense to any other type of fitness regime, too. Stay on-trend by incorporating 2016's colors into your workout wardrobe.
