You heard it here first: 2016 is going to be the year of regeneration. According to Matthew N. Berenc, director of the Equinox Fitness Training Institute, the recent focus on all high-intensity, all the time will (thankfully) fade out of focus. “For the last couple of years, there has been an overriding perception that in order to get in shape, see results, or just train in general, that you had to go ‘beast mode’ or ‘crush it,’” Berenc has said. “By honoring the ideas of recovery and regeneration, people will see better and longer-lasting results."
