Pamper your feet with these luxurious treatments.

With Memorial Day fast approaching, it's time to jumpstart your summer prep list. First up? Your feet. After spending months inside boots and thick socks, they’re definitely not prepped for their close-up. Get your feet summer ready by pampering them with the help of these five luxurious pedicures. We're highlighting the top pedi treatments that go above-and-beyond in Miami, Chicago, and other major cities—because as advanced nail technician Marcela Correa, owner of Medical Pedicure in New York City, says, “Healthy feet are beautiful.”

medical pedicure at marcela correa, nyc

The two locations of Medical Pedicure don’t look like your typical nail salon—and that’s exactly how owner Marcela Correa likes it. “The first thing that surprises people is when they realize we are in a medical office,” she says. The second surprise? How dramatic the results are. Each service, which lasts 30 to 60 minutes, starts with a thorough foot evaluation, followed by extensive cleaning and buffing to get rid of dead skin, all done without the use of water, a trend Correa is seeing more of. Calluses, blisters, cracked heels and corns are dealt with by the foot-care experts with specialty tools and equipment. And despite what its name might lead you to believe, “A medical pedicure is pain-free,” says Correa. The spa doesn’t stock nail polish—Correa thinks buffed nails are perfect on their own—but bring your own and they’re happy to apply it for you.

caviar & pearl pedicure at chuan spa at the langham, chicago

Before you sit down for your 50-minute waterless pedi in a zero-gravity chair—it takes the pressure off guests’ backs, says William Meyer, spa director—be sure to take advantage of the relaxing tri-bathing ritual, which begins with two different saunas and ends with an aromatherapy full-body shower. The Caviar & Pearl Pedicure starts with wrapping the feet in a warm towel infused with Chuan signature essential oils. Next, feet are exfoliated with a mineral scrub and then massaged with an aromatic herbal balm. From there, caviar age-defense serum is massaged into calves and feet, which promotes circulation, reduces inflammation and helps with fine lines, says Meyer. Once your nails are filed and shaped, opt for a buff or polish.
