The touring duo prioritizes exercise by cycling and running.
After gaining traction from their 2016 hit “Capsize,” electropop duo FRENSHIP (made up of Brett Hite and James Sunderland) has built a loyal fanbase, which is likely to increase with the release of their brand new album, Vacation. It features collaborations with artists like Bastille (“Won’t Let You Go”) and the singer-songwriter Yoke Lore (“Wanted a Name”).
For the band members, who are currently on tour until mid-June, fitness plays an important role. Hite prioritizes biking as a form of exercise and a way to explore his home city of Los Angeles. “I've recently become addicted to cycling,” he explains. “There are a lot of mountains around the city and they provide a great escape for body and mind.” As for Sunderland, he starts his days with a five-minute-long meditation before running a few miles.
In honor of the release of Vacation, the pair put together an eclectic playlist exclusively for Furthermore including their favorite tracks from their new album as well as acts like The Notorious B.I.G. and Band of Horses.
